My Photographers Website

I was going to make my website from scratch but I found Wix which gave me more of a guide to follow and it had the idea I really like to I started to create my website through Wix. I did some sketches of wire frames and I start to follow one but when I saw what Wix offered I changed some detail of the design.

I made an account with wix and I began to create my website with choosing my template. I try out a couple and didn't no if I like the way they worked. I picture the one i wanted and then began changing colours, text and adding images to slide shows.

This is my home page I got a slideshow showing a range of my work and I have done it like this as mt best images are in the slideshow so it grabs peoples attention.

I have decided to have a collage of image for my gallery but you can go into category's to see the album.

I took sentences from my personal statement and i add some of my experience. I added a picture of my self so people can see who I am and they will put a face to my name.

Overall I think the website look really good I have some other idea what I might add later but I can have a site what I can call my own.I think as I grow with experience and confidence so will my site. I think I have some thing I my change about my site but I think they are only minor things. building my site was a bit hard as I had so many chooses and I keep changing my mind but I thought wix its a great site a easy to use.

Wire Frames

Wire frames are website ideas made into website designs, I have done few different wire frames as I was not sure of what I would like my website to look like.

This is my first idea I really like this idea but there is some changes I would make to improve this idea.

I really like the layout of the idea but I don't think it would work as well as I might want it to.

This is my favorite ideas I think I would create this website because it would applies to more clients.

I really like some of the features on this idea I might uses art from each idea.

Overall I have a range of idea and design which will help me to create my own website. I have thought about the colours, styles of the text and the layout. I think I have a good idea what my website will look like and the images I will use.

HTML

I have started to learn the Digital coding of a website, from this I will make my own. HTML is uses for every website and everything on the website from the colour to make the writing bold coding can be change at anytime by the creator of the coding. there are even coding for the images you put on the website. I start of by opening textedit.

I start of with this sign< to open the part of the coding and I close it with this opposite sign > my first word in the symbols is HTML to let the computer understand what the next lot of coding is going to be also linking the website to the internet. Then i go on to open the body and and underneath this would be my title which is welcome to my page. i then close the body with </body> and then </HTML>

Then select all

and go into format and make plain text.

Then save it as webpage.HTML

you are now ready to move on to the next bit underneath "welcome to my page" type making webpages is fun, and easy! between the "fun," and "and" put five spaces.

Now go to file and preview in browser the spaces are not there.

now to make the spaces in between you need to add " " instead of the five spaces.

now reopen this in the browser and you will see that the spaces are there now but not the words.

know to make the title bold you need to add this symbol at the end of the sentence for example welcome to my website would have <h1> and </h1> this will make the sentence bold and big.

This will make it bold when you open the preview browser and not when you have the coding.

Now if you want to a word bold but not change the size you will use the code <strong><em> after the five " "and this will make the "and easy!" part bold.

now between the <HTML>and the <body> type <head> and underneath this type <title > HTML basics for fun and profit</title></head>.

Then I opened dream weaver.

Now in dreamweaver open new document and click none on the layout and press create.

now you can view both the coding and what it will look like on the internet.

After a wile i got the hand of the code and I found it easier to understand.
I think Html looks confusing but after you get uses to it, it become fun. I think I have got a good idea how I can create my own website from scratch but i think i will create one of a template as I haven't got time to make it from scratch.
